To ensure your kamado lasts a lifetime, we recommend having it serviced once a year. A well-maintained kamado burns more efficiently and is more enjoyable to use. Regular professional servicing is also important for hygiene and safety, ensuring your kamado receives a thorough inspection and proper maintenance.

To take the hassle out of it for you, we have developed our own cleaning and maintenance service for all our models, carried out entirely in-house.

Our kamado maintenance service includes:

• Thorough cleaning of the inside and outside
• Touching up imperfections in the coating
• Replacing the felt gasket (if required or requested)
• Adjusting the hinge
• Lubricating the wheels
• Thorough cleaning of the top vent

*General terms and conditions:

• We expect the appliance to be in a reasonable condition. An additional charge may apply for extremely dirty or neglected appliances. Please send us photos of your kamado in advance.
• A maintenance service takes a maximum of 2 hours. If additional work is required, this will be charged at €35 per started half hour.
• Maintenance services are always scheduled by mutual agreement and can be carried out without a travel charge when we are already working in your area. For full details regarding travel by appointment, please see our delivery terms and conditions or contact us.
• We recommend scheduling your maintenance service between October and March, so your kamado is ready to go during the warmer months!
• As the owner of the appliance, we ask that you are present or nearby while the maintenance is carried out. This allows you to indicate where any adjustments may be needed. For the removal and reinstallation of certain parts, the assistance of a second person is required, especially for larger models such as the Big Joe, Bastard XL or Monolith LeChef.
• The customer must provide hot water on site.
