The Monolith ONE.55 may no longer have a chip feeder, but it has been fitted with a number of impressive upgrades, which thereby make the kamado even more flexible:

• THE MONOLIET SGS Whether baking, cooking, direct or indirect grilling - the newly integrated Smart Grid System (SGS) now ensures maximum barbecue flexibility. The practical modular division of the SGS into two sections even allows different techniques to be used simultaneously.
• ONE PERFECT SEAL The extremely resistant glass fibre tube seal on the lid and a heavy-duty flat glass fibre seal on the base now ensure that heat and flavours stay exactly where they belong.
• ONE SOLID HINGER The reworked PRO Series 2.0 stainless steel hinge with its reinforced springs and precise height adjustment now also allows even easier operation. Reinforced, powder-coated 4 mm steel tensioning straps ensure durability and stability even under heavy use.

Internal structure*

The Smart Grid System of the Monolith ONE.55 offers a number of handy features for your barbecue experience. With a grid diameter of 44 cm, this kamado is perfect for grilling, baking, smoking and cooking. The system provides flexibility in preparing meals on multiple levels if needed.

This innovative system uses split barbecue areas at different heights, where the stainless steel barbecue grid can be used in two parts. This also applies to the cast-iron grates, deflector stones, cast-iron planchas and stainless steel drip trays.

The 1/2 division of the drip trays and deflector stones even allows you to use a direct and an indirect zone in the barbecue at the same time, while significantly reducing the risk of fat burning.

The Smart Grid System also has two handy handles that allow you to easily remove the entire system from the kamado. The airtight design ensures constant temperatures in the Monolith.

All components of the Monolith ceramic barbecue are designed with good airtightness in mind, including high-quality seals and a cast-iron ventilation hood for precise temperature control without fluctuations.

Thanks to the excellent sealing, the coals glow through quickly and extinguish easily by simply closing the air supply and ventilation hood, so you can even reuse the charcoal for your next barbecue session.

The Monolith firebox includes a metal frame with five ceramic segments that minimise stress cracks and ensure long life. The ash collection system is quick and convenient to empty with the included ash scoop.
