To get off to a smooth start with your new OFYR barbecue, there are a few items that are very useful and that we recommend to our first-time customers.
- OFYR Pro Spatula: a high-quality spatula that allows you to cook more easily and efficiently and also makes cleaning the cooking plate much easier.
- OFYR Oil Can: a practical oil can with an anti-leak / oil return system for clean and controlled oiling of the cooking plate.
- OFYR Food Bumper 85: an essential accessory, otherwise a lot of food will end up in the fire while cooking.
- OFYR Food Bumper 100: an essential accessory, otherwise a lot of food will end up in the fire while cooking.
- Care Spray: use this spray after cooking to protect your appliance and prevent rust formation.
- OFYR Snuffer Lid 85: finished cooking or need to leave suddenly? With this snuffer lid you can safely extinguish the fire and leave your OFYR unattended. When not in use, the snuffer lid can be combined with the Soft Cover to protect the unit from rain, dust and dirt. Using the snuffer lid underneath the Soft Cover also prevents water pooling during rainfall.

- Firewood for OFYR – Beech: using the right firewood is essential for comfortable and efficient cooking. We use oven-dried beech wood with a moisture content below 20%. The logs are cut and split to the ideal size so they fit perfectly in the OFYR. Beech is a hardwood that burns long and steadily, while producing enough flame intensity for cooking.
- Kindling Cracker: during cooking it’s important to split your wood into smaller pieces. This allows you to control heat zones more precisely and ensures a clean fire without excessive smoke. The Kindling Cracker makes splitting wood easy and safe — even fun enough for kids to help!
- Kindling Cracker Hammer: to use the Kindling Cracker, you don’t need a dangerous axe — this sturdy octagon-shaped Kindling Cracker Hammer does the job safely and efficiently.
