Kamado Information and Late-Night Shopping Event: 18 June
Have you been thinking about buying a kamado for a while, but aren’t sure which brand is right for you? Then come and visit us on Thursday 18 June for our first late-night opening at Kamado BBQ.
From 6 pm, we’ll line up our premium brands side by side and really put them through their paces. We’ll be comparing the Kamado Joe, The Bastard and Monolith in a practical setting.
Our experienced grill masters will demonstrate the differences between the brands and models, provide expert explanations and answer all your questions. They’ll also let you sample all their creations!
Of course, you can try out for yourself which appliance suits you best. That way, you can make an informed choice! 🔥

From 6 pm, we’ll be lining up the most popular premium pizza ovens side by side and really putting them through their paces. We’ll be comparing Gozney and Ooni in practice. Our pizza experts will highlight the differences between the brands and models, provide expert explanations and answer all your questions.
Of course, you can also experience for yourself which appliance suits you best. This way, you can make an informed choice and set out with confidence to find your ideal pizza setup! 🍕🔥

On Fire Spring 2026: 1 May
On Friday 1 May, Kamado BBQ was once again ablaze during our annual BBQ festival, On Fire 🔥
With no fewer than 900 visitors, we can look back on a particularly successful event. Thanks to the fantastic weather, the summery temperatures and the relaxed festival atmosphere, it was a day to remember.
This year’s central theme — ‘Low & Slow’ — was clearly a hit. Our chefs pulled out all the stops with impressive slow-cooked signature dishes and shared their knowledge, tips and techniques with the public with great passion. The live show cooking attracted keen interest throughout the day. Using equipment from brands including Kamado Joe, The Bastard, OFYR and Gozney, our grill masters demonstrated what is possible at the highest level — and, of course, there was plenty of opportunity to sample their delicious creations.
Visitors could also discover new flavours with the rubs and herbs from Braai, Fab’s and Barbacoa, enjoy a refreshing local beer and fully immerse themselves in the aroma, taste and conviviality of a proper summer BBQ day.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all visitors, partners, chefs and staff for making this edition such a huge success.

Experience Pizza: First Fire Tour
On 25 September, the First Fire Tour stopped off at our BBQ hall in Zelem.
This premium, hands-on event, at which Gozney unveiled its new Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL, proved to be a huge success!
Around thirty pizza lovers enjoyed not only delicious pizzas, but a full menu. Among the dishes on offer: sea bass, flank steak, roasted aubergine and grilled peach.
The weather gods were also on our side: it stayed dry. Together with the cosy warmth of the new Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2, this made for a pleasant, atmospheric evening.
10 years Kamado BBQ
On Sunday 7 September, we celebrated our 10th anniversary in and around the shop with a festive event packed with BBQ experiences, demonstrations and surprises.
Over 500 visitors enjoyed a delicious pizza baked by Pappa Pizza or a cold beer from Swiekes. There were also tastings at the stands of Kamado Joe, Gozney, The Bastard, and OFYR. Under a glorious sun, you could also enjoy the flavourful herbs from Braai BBQ and Fabs BBQ. Newcomer MadMax was also there with his spicy oils.
We would like to thank everyone who came along to celebrate our 10th anniversary with us!
Kamado BBQ - On Fire Spring 2025
On Thursday 1 May 2025, Kamado BBQ in Zelem was literally on fire! More than 750 BBQ enthusiasts turned up to enjoy a free outdoor cooking festival that had it all: glorious weather, juicy meat on the grill, delicious cocktails, smouldering kamados, and above all… plenty of smoke, flavour and conviviality. From steaming OFYRs to freshly tapped Swiekes Trippel, from succulent arrosticini to surprising tastings — this event was a cocktail of fire, fun and inspiration. A top-notch event full of summer vibes where you could learn and enjoy: handy how-to’s, surprising facts, tips & tricks from the pros, and of course finger-licking food.
