Discover various cooking options with different temperature zones, allowing you to create dishes that are not feasible on a grill rack.

This fire plate is specially designed for the .55 kamado and has a seal to the ceramic rim at the bottom, allowing the.55’s lid to be placed in the centre of the plate for optimal temperature control. Thanks to the cut-out at the back of the plate, you do not need to remove the .55’s lid.

The fire plate extends about 13 cm beyond the edge of the .55, creating a temperature gradient from the centre to the edge and allowing you to cook different dishes at the same time on the large surface. You can sear your food in the “hot zone” in the middle, while slowly bringing it to the right core temperature or keeping it warm at the edge.

In addition, the hob has a recess for a GN 1/16 gastro tray, which acts as a grease collection tray, making cleaning easier. Note: we recommend warming up the plate before first use.
